 Title: Monotone mappings in the plane

 Abstract  

 We are interested in subsets of Euclidean spaces viewed as structures with a single ternary relation indicating the usual betweenness. A homorphism of such sets will be called monotone. We shall discuss a classification of monotone mappings defined on convex subsets of the plane, exhibiting a close relation with projective transformations. We shall also address the question of classification of simple planar sets with respect to the existence of one-to-one monotone mappings into lines.
