Title: Uniform constructions of homogeneous mathematical structures

Abstract
I will present a general way of constructing homogeneous structures, 
motivated by Katetov's work (1986). It turns out that Katetov's 
construction often extends to uncountable sizes (cardinalities, weights, 
etc.). Several natural examples will be discussed.
