Dear colleagues,

I would be most grateful for any assistance in spreading the information below regarding professorships at the University of Copenhagen in machine learning, but also including aspects such as theoretical computer science and combinatorial optimization.

Best regards
Jakob Nordstrom

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for professorships (tenure-track, associate, or full) in machine learning, where strong candidates in areas like theoretical computer science and combinatorial optimization are also of interest.

The University of Copenhagen was founded in 1479 and is the oldest and largest university in Denmark. It is often ranked as the best university in Scandinavia and consistently as one of the top places in Europe. Within computer science, it is currently number 1 in the European Union (post-Brexit) according to the Shanghai Ranking, and according to CSrankings.org it is top-5 worldwide in algorithms and complexity.

The application deadline is September 12, 2021. See https://di.ku.dk/english/about/vacancies/assistantassociatefull-professorship-in-machine-learning/ for the full announcement with more information and instructions for how to apply.
