Title: Homegenisation and weak KPT-type theorems

Abstract

I will discuss an abstract homogenisation procedure which, given a category of "small" objects with and a fixed "large" object M, yields a new category which has the amalgamation property and which (under reasonable assumptions) is Fraisse with limit M, and such that the automorphism group of M is the same (as a topological group).

Then I will say how this can be used to relatively easily prove various "weak" KPT-type correspondences from "regular" KPT-type correspondences, in particular, giving a new proof of a weak KPT correspondence by Bartoš, Bice, Barbosa and Kubiś, as well as (to my knowledge new) weak KPT correspondence for amenable groups.

This is joint work with Adam Bartoš.
