Abstract <br />
<p>We will have a session consisting of the following two talks.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Tomáš Raunig</strong>, Institute of Mathematics, Czech Academy of Sciences</p><p><em>Almost-invariant elements of group actions on Lip0 spaces</em></p><p><br></p><p>In the talk, we will focus on the problem of approximating functionals on a Banach space which are almost invariant with respect to an action of a discrete group by invariant functionals. We will introduce the necessary concepts, give an overview of results by E. Glasner and finally discuss the particular case of group actions on the space of Lipschitz functions vanishing at the base point.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Tomasz Wawrzycki</strong>, Jagiellonian University in Kraków</p><p><em>Constructing Banach spaces with prescribed Baire classes</em></p><p><br></p><p>For the abstract see the PDF on the seminar website.</p>
